I have had the pleasure of dealing with Fabricius Green several times over the past couple of years. They are a family run jewellers in the heart of Shrewsbury; the staff are friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy, and the prices are fair.
I had been looking for a gold bangle for many years but, due to having small wrists, was struggling to find one that didn’t slip over my hand. I called into Fabricius Green and Kat showed me several bangles. I chose one twisted in three different metals which was exactly what I was looking for but I wanted it in yellow gold and much smaller. After taking my measurements the bangle was made in a wax cast and after a couple of tweaks was created in gold. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the bangle, I wear it every day and it gets many compliments.
A year later I was passing the shop window and a beautiful Georg Jensen ring caught my eye. I absolutely loved it!! I was very lucky and my husband bought me the ring the following year to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
My new ring meant I could no longer wear my eternity ring. I asked Kat if they could remodel the diamonds and gold to make some earrings and a pendant. I described the designs I had in mind and these were created on the CAD machine. After many tweaks, including changing my mind completely on the earrings design, the items were made in wax and then in the gold and diamonds. I must thank Kat and Peter so much for their patience, enthusiasm and helpful suggestions. I’m absolutely thrilled with the finished items and know I shall enjoy wearing them for many years.
I would not hesitate in recommending Fabricius Green to anyone wanting a beautiful piece of new jewellery or any old items adjusted or remodelled. I shall definitely be back!

I used Fabricius Green for choosing an engagement ring for my partner. On all visits to the store the staff were incredibly helpful, patient and accommodating, and made what can be a nerve-racking experience far easier.
Their stock is varied and of a very high quality, and having looked in several stores in Shropshire, this one was hands down the best in terms of the quality of their products and customer service.

I had a tight deadline before travelling abroad to propose, and they went above and beyond to help, sourcing the diamond and completing the ring ahead of schedule and keeping me updated throughout.
The finished ring is beautiful and the workmanship is excellent. What stood out most was how genuinely caring and supportive the whole team were, with great advice and excellent aftercare.
My fiancée absolutely loves the ring. A fantastic independent jeweller and one I’d highly recommend.
